Four trim levels are available in the Chevy Trailblazer family.
The first trim in the lineup is the LS. The LS has a sleek exterior appearance with alloy wheels and automatic headlights. The interior has some notable features, including a push-button start, a flat-folding passenger's seat, and split-folding back seats. There is plenty of technology to enjoy in this trim level, including Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Wireless connectivity is standard for both. The base trim also has a six-speaker sound system.
Next in line is the LT trim level near Tucson. This trim has a few more exterior distinctions, including black machine-finished wheels. Roof rails are also included in this trim level, along with LED fog lights. Heated side mirrors are standard with the LT as well.
The Activ is the next trim in the lineup. The Activ has all-terrain tires and a different engine that produces more power. The Activ has some additional off-road features, including underbody skid plates. You will get a tow-hitch receiver with this trim and dual-exhaust tailpipes. A two-tone roof is another exterior feature you can look forward to. The Activ has synthetic leather seats, a power-adjustable driver's seat, a heated steering wheel, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and an armrest in the back row.
After the Activ comes to the RS. The RS has dark chrome exterior accents for a more stealthy and polished appearance. The RS trim level also has red interior accents and flat-bottom steering wheels for a sportier driving experience.
Along with all the features you can get with the Trailblazer, more package options are available. The Driver Confidence package includes rear cross-traffic alert, rear parking sensors, and blind-spot warning. The Convenience package includes more USB charging ports, a household-style charging outlet, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and automatic climate control. In addition to the packages, you can get some standalone options, too, including a hands-free liftgate, panoramic sunroof, Bose sound system, adaptive cruise control, and a wireless smartphone charging pad.
On the inside, the Trailblazer has a comfortable interior with plenty of space and technology near Green Valley. The Trailblazer also has plenty of digital controls and a ride height higher than that of a sedan, which means taller occupants should have no problem entering and exiting the vehicle. A spacious rear seat adds to the fact that taller occupants can ride comfortably in both rows.
Outside, the Trailblazer has a rugged design and a sporty look. LED headlights and LED fog lights are standard. The Trailblazer also starts with 17-inch wheels and heated side mirrors. Larger 19-inch wheels come with the RS. A sunroof and liftgate are available.
For performance, you can either go with the base engine, a turbo 1.2L engine with three cylinders producing 137 horsepower, or you can get a turbo 1.3L engine with a power output of 155 horsepower. The second engine comes with a nine-speed transmission.
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are standard. You can also start with an 11-inch touchscreen display. More USB ports, a household-style charging outlet, and a Bose sound system are available.
Forward collision mitigation, lane-keeping assistance, and pedestrian detection are standard. Blind-spot warning and rear cross-traffic alert are optional.
