The Chevrolet Trailblazer is a versatile vehicle that can be used for both family and business purposes. It has all of the features you need to take on your next adventures, such as safety features that protect you from road hazards and other dangers.
On safety, GM Authority has learned that GM's OnStar service, in order to control costs better and streamline profits, is planning to stop supporting older vehicle models. This means that if you own a 2021 or older Trailblazer — which is no longer in production — it will become impossible for OnStar to provide the following services:
- Emergency services
- Roadside assistance
- Turn-by-turn navigation directions
- Enhanced Roadside Assistance.
These features are important for Trailblazer owners, so GM Authority is here to tell you exactly what this means for you.
Emergency Services
If your 2021 or older Trailblazer gets in an accident, OnStar will dispatch emergency services to come to help you out. This service is only available if the vehicle has a cellular connection that's turned on at the time of the incident.
